Stages of work
There were two layers of shingles on the house. We completely removed them to get to the base and assess its condition.
After dismantling, we checked the boards (OSB). It is important to make sure that they are not rotten and will withstand the new load. In this case, no replacement was needed.
On the cleaned base, we laid a rubber substrate and a special waterproof layer. It protects against moisture and condensation.
In the upper part, we installed a ridge vent, a ventilation element that allows the roof to “breathe” and reduces the risk of moisture inside.
We fixed all the elements, checked the joints, and tested the ventilation. The work was completed with a complete cleaning of the territory.
