Stages of Work
The project was large-scale and required a clear sequence of actions:
Preparation of the substrate. We started by laying new plywood over the entire roof area. The material was fixed with due regard for future loads.
Puttying and sanding. To create a perfectly flat base, we used special putty compounds. After that, the surface was sanded and carefully checked to avoid even small differences.
Sealing the joints. We paid special attention to grouting the joints and transitions. This ensures a tight fit of the vinyl coating and eliminates the possibility of leaks in the future.
Installation of the vinyl membrane. The key stage was gluing a special waterproof vinyl membrane. The work was performed by four hands to ensure accurate installation without air pockets and distortions.
Final works. We processed the corners and abutments, closed all the transitions, and then the surface acquired a complete look. The roof was ready to be furnished and used as a terrace.
